So I don’t use iTunes … I’m going on a long trip and wondered, can I download your podcasts from SoundCloud and listen to them while away from the internet? I’ll be on a long flight and then in a remote area without internet! Thanks 🙂

  • Amy

Is there no way to rate from my iPhone? I don’t really use iTunes.

  • Charlene

Apple does not think the way I do – can you provide a link directly to you so I can leave a review – tried noodling around and can’t find the correct page. Would love to help but Apple does not make it easy.

  • Jeanne

Boy, I don’t think like Apple either. I want nothing to do with their snooty, proprietary, cult company. I just go to and click on Podcasts and View Episodes. You can do this from any phone or tablet. It’s not the same as subscribing, but you can listen to the podcasts easily this way.

Is there a way to review the podcast if you don’t own an Apple computer?

    • gretchenrubin

Sign up for the newsletter at, and you’ll get each episode by email, and you can listen from there.
Or you can always listen here, on the blog, by clicking on the box at the bottom of the show notes for the episode.

I meant “review” as in “comment and rate.” Is there a way to do that without owning an Apple desktop or laptop?

        • Steve Barber

It doesn’t have to be an Apple computer. iTunes on any operating system is fine. I ran iTunes on Windows and submitted a rating/review using these instructions.
