Too Early, Too Early, Too Early–Too Late, Too Late, Too Late.

Over time, my experiences in book publishing have taught me an important lesson: I’ve learned the danger of worrying about timing. So often, in book publishing, I’ve been told, “Not yet, it’s too early, too early, too early.” And then, in a flash, suddenly the message is, “Sorry, it’s late, too late, too late.” And I’ve seen this in many contexts, most often with “Too young—too old.” So I always remind myself that whenever possible, do it now. Wherever we are, and whenever it is, it’s always the right time to begin. Want to get my monthly newsletter, with interesting links, updates, and bonus material? Sign up here.
