Try This at Home

This week’s suggestion comes from our friend and former producer, Kristen Meinzer.

Among other things, Kristen is co-host of several popular, award-winning podcasts: By The BookMovie Therapy with Rafer & KristenInnovation UncoveredWhen Meghan Met Harryand We Love You & So Can YouShe’s also the author of the terrific book So You Want to Start a Podcast: Finding Your Voice, Telling Your Story, and Building a Community That Will Listen (AmazonBookshop), and the co-author of How to Be Fine: What We Learned from Living by the Rules of 50 Self-Help Books (AmazonBookshop).

And she’s our former producer! Here are the three of us before the second Happier live show, five years ago in Seattle.

Gretchen’s Demerit

When working on a piece of writing, I tinker endlessly with my favorite parts, but postpone working on the bigger, tougher questions.  Even though I know perfectly well that working is one of the most dangerous forms of procrastination.

Elizabeth’s Gold Star

Elizabeth gives a gold star to the Bravo app.  She’s working so hard these days, it’s great to know that she can get her Bravo whenever she needs it.
